PTA Reflections is a nationally acclaimed student recognition program to encourage artistic creativity in the classroom and at home. Students of all grades and abilities may participate and explore the arts based on the 2025-2026 theme: "I belong!” in one or all of the available arts categories:

  • Dance Choreography: 
  • Film Production
  • Literature
  • Music Composition
  • Photography
  • Visual Arts

Students participate in the appropriate division for their grade:

  • Primary (Pre-K - Grade 2), 
  • Intermediate (Grades 3-5), 
  • Special Artist (All grades welcome). Students who identify as having a disability and may receive services under IDEA or ADA: Section 504 may enter in the Special Artist Division or grade division most closely aligned to their functional abilities. Submission Guidelines

Students may submit digital copies of their completed artwork with the submission form (English, Spanish) to reflections@sanderscornerpta.org.  The form requires a student signature, parent signature, title of artwork, artist statement and information about the creation process.  Please only submit one entry per category.  

Accepted forms of files for submission: 

  • Dance Choreography: MP4, MOV, AVI; no longer than 5 minutes (1,000 MB)
  • Film Production: MP4, MOV, AVI; no longer than 5 minutes (1,000 MB)
  • Literature: DF. Handwritten and typed entries are accepted on 8.5x11 paper (one sided only).  
  • Music Composition: Audio recording: MP3 or WAV, no longer than no longer than 5 minutes (1,000 MB)
  • Photography: JPEG, JPG or PNG; at least 640x960 pixels and 300 dpi resolution.
  • Visual Arts: Photos of 2D (must submit least one) and 3D (must submit at least 3 from different angles) must be submitted in JPEG, JPG, or PNG.
